Today, we are excited to announce the launch of our in-house pharmacy delivery service. Vibrant Health pharmacies have delivered prescriptions through a third-party service to patients since our first pharmacy opened in 2021. In 2024, pharmacy delivery volumes increased to the point of utilizing this service in-house.

Vibrant Health patients who use any of our three pharmacies (Vibrant Health Central, Vibrant Health-Family Health Care, Vibrant Health Cordell D Meeks Jr.) or pharmacy delivery service will have access to medications at a heavily reduced price through the 340B Drug Pricing Program and our sliding fee payment scale. In many cases, medications will be available 30-50% below retail prices, regardless of insurance status.
Vibrant Health delivers prescriptions to Kansas City area residents five days a week. Each day, we are delivering to about 15 to 20 patients, with one patient potentially having one to more than ten prescriptions.
Bilingual Pharmacy Technician and delivery driver, Rebecca Weigand, will spend half of her time working in the pharmacy and the other half delivering prescriptions. Rebecca always tries to get to know our patients and it’s nothing out of the ordinary to see a patient give her a hug. She is passionate about the communities we serve and eliminates the communication barrier that many of our patients experience.
